Hi Doris - again, rarely are laptops free. But as this article and our article Free Computers for Seniors demonstrate, if you're in need of a personal computer, there -are- options. I would check with your local senior center for more resources. Good luck!

As I'am 61 and divorced I need extra income, having a laptop would mean the world. I wouldn't have to use my sons computer.

Hi Kathleen - To my knowledge, there aren't absolutely free laptops. But you can find computers at a greatly reduced price at some places, such as state facility overstock centers. Read our article, Free Computers for Seniors, for more information.
