Wilma, it might be time to treat yourself to a Saturday in another town nearby and try a consultation with a different stylist. The folks in your town might not be able to get out to conferences and shows and learn new techniques, but once you come in with a new cut, they'll probably be able to replicate it. Study pictures in magazines and find something similar to your facial structure and preference, and take those with you on your adventure.

I like this hairstyle a lot. I live in a small town in East Texas (33000) and I can't seem to find a stylist who will give me a style appropriate for my face shape, etc. I don't want another BAD haircut; help out there!
