Independent Living

Sunrise independent living is designed for active seniors who desire privacy, freedom, convenience, accessibility, and security in a maintenance-free environment. These attractively designed apartment communities offer many choices, including floor plans, home rental or ownership,and personal assistance. A professional staff is available 24-hours a day and a variety of activities are available for residents. Primary services include:

At Home Assisted Living

Home assisted living services are designed to meet personal care and skilled nursing needs at the senior's residence. Services are integrated among professionals to better provide comprehensive care. Sunrise Senior Living currently provides home assisted living in thirteen areas: Northern Virginia, Maryland, Philadelphia, Boston Area, Long Island, Atlanta, Chicago, South Florida, and Tampa.

Primary services include:

• Comprehensive evaluation by a Registered Nurse (R.N.)
• Physical, social, emotional, and environmental services
• Skilled nursing care and coordination of care by an RN
• 24-hour on-call access to an RN
• 24-hour emergency monitoring system

• Light housekeeping and home-cooked meals

• Medication management and monitoring

Assisted Living

Assisted living is designed for seniors who can no longer live independently, yet do not require 24-hour care or intensive medical oversight. Care is provided in an apartment setting and includes amenities, such as a main living room for socializing, private dining room for entertaining, screened porches, safety features, and optional haircare services. Primary services include:

Hospice Care

Short-term Stays
